Kansas City Royals

Biggest Surprise: The club in general. Kansas City entered the 2026 season seemingly looking like a contender on paper. Instead, the Royals have struggled overall.
MVP: Bobby Witt Jr.: Witt is an MVP-level player who does everything on the baseball field. He's an excellent hitter and arguably the best defensive player in the game.
One Sentence: The Royals can still turn this around, but it has been a disappointing season.
