Baltimore Orioles
Record: 19-23
Biggest Surprise: The Orioles went out and added intriguing pieces this past offseason, like Pete Alonso, but it hasn't translated to wins yet. The Orioles have the young talent on paper to turn this thing around, but the Orioles are ice-cold right now.
MVP: Adley Rutschman — The veteran catcher has had a bounce-back campaign so far and is slashing .304/.360/.565 with five homers and 21 RBIs, to go along with a .925 OPS.
One Sentence: The Orioles have struggled so far this season. Baltimore plays in a difficult division, to say the least. It needs to act quickly to pull itself out of this hole.
