The World Series is over and the Milwaukee Brewers are champions for the first time in franchise history.
While much of the Brewers' gear is being packed up and shipped home for the offseason, some of it is going to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.
According to MLB.com, here are some of the artifacts that are headed for the Hall:
- World Series MVP William Contrerasβ chest protector and shin guards
- Pat Murphyβs postseason hoodie sweatshirt
- Jacob Misiorowskiβs Game 5 cap
- Brice Turangβs Game 5 cleats
- Aaron Ashbyβs glasses
- Christian Yelichβs Game 4 jersey
Cooper Prattβs Games 4 and 5 bat
In other words, plenty of cool stuff for Brewers fans to see next time they're in Cooperstown.
