Mitch Garver is calling it a career.
Garver, 35, announced his retirement on Thursday according to a report from MLB.com.
A power-hitting catcher and DH, Garver played 10 Major League seasons from 2017 to 2026. He spent the first half of his career with the Minnesota Twins, where he enjoyed the best season of his career in 2019 with 31 home runs, a .995 OPS and an AL Silver Slugger award.
After a strong half-decade with the Twins, Garver was traded to the Texas Rangers in 2022 and helped them win their first World Series title in 2023. He spent his final three seasons with the Seattle Mariners, retiring with a career .229/.325/.432 batting line, 110 homers and 10 WAR.
While injuries often limited Garver's playing time and he was never an All-Star, he was one of the best-hitting catchers in baseball for a decade when healthy.
