The Milwaukee Brewers walked off the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the National League Division Series, and Hall of Famer CC Sabathia was there to witness it.

Sabathia spent half a season in Milwaukee in 2008 and helped end their 25-year postseason drought. However, the Brewers are now in their golden era, making the postseason in eight of the last nine seasons and winning the most games in baseball in each of the last two regular seasons. Sabathia got to see one of the best moments in recent Brewers history in person when Jackson Chourio capped off a great inning against Mason Miller with a two-RBI walk-off single.
"This is what itβs all about manβ¦bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, your best guy vs. one of the best closersβ¦attacking the fast ball early, reading the slider, staying in the count, scraping a 103 mph foul ball, ball game. OCTOBER!" Sabathia wrote on X.

Even though he was only there for a short time, Sabathia is in the Brewers Hall of Fame. He will always be remembered as a Yankee, but he clearly loved his time with the Brewers and is watching them closely on this run.
