The Pittsburgh Pirates took down the Cleveland Guardians 7-1 on Sunday with Paul Skenes on the mound.
It was the Pirates' second 7-1 win of the series, and their ace delivered seven innings of one-run ball. The lone run he gave up came in the third inning on a safety squeeze by Steven Kwan. The Guardians X account posted the squeeze play and captioned it "Job well Dunne," a play on words for Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne.
Dunne is a popular social media influencer and model with over 200,000 X followers and 5.2 million Instagram followers. On Monday, she replied to the Guardian's post saying, "Game was Dunne at 7-1 Pirates."

Skenes is one of the best arms in the game, and it's not easy to score runs off him. Dunne is often in the spotlight thanks to her celebrity status and has never shied away from having fun on social media. The Pirates got the last laugh in the series, and Dunne had the last laugh on X.
The Pirates enter play on Tuesday at 52-49 and find themselves right in the middle of the postseason mix. They are currently tied for the final wild card spot and could be buyers at the upcoming trade deadline. They could be aggressive as they look to maximize the time they have with Skenes on the roster.
