The New York Yankees have one of the best bullpens in baseball, but it could always get better.

One thing that has been a staple for the Yankees over the years has been an elite bullpen and an electric closer. Right now, the Yankees have a really good bullpen, but David Bednar arguably doesn't fit the description of the "electric closer." That could change over the next few weeks. Randy Miller of NJ.com reported that New York sent scouts to see San Diego Padres superstar closer Mason Miller.

"The Yankees have two major-league scouts in Kansas City for this weekend’s Royals-Padres series," Miller wrote. "They’re there tracking players who could be moved before baseball’s 6 p.m. Aug. 3 trade deadline, which is two weeks from Monday. They’re there for Padres All-Star closer Mason Miller, baseball’s best reliever."

If Miller is available, he's the guy the Yankees should be in on to transform the bullpen. He is a game-changer of a reliever and would take the Yankees' bullpen from very good to nearly unstoppable.
