David Ortiz found a new way to torment the New York Yankees at Fenway Park.
Noah Kahan performed his second of four concerts at the Boston Red Sox's home on Wednesday night. During the show, Ortiz greeted attendees with a surprise virtual appearance. Big Papi delighted fans by delivering his signature line to troll the Red Sox's longtime rivals.
"There's one thing more special than being at Fenway Park," Ortiz said. "Daaaaaa Yankees lose. Go Sox!"

The Yankees and Red Sox have spent years embroiled in one of MLB's great divides. Ortiz was an orbiter of many baseballs during their meetings, batting .303/.394/.567 with 53 home runs against the Evil Empire. Kahan was only 7 years old when Ortiz fueled Boston's 2004 ALCS comeback over New York and snapped an 86-year World Series drought.
Even in retirement, Ortiz has taken every chance he can to mock the Yankees. The Fox analyst frequently breaks out a "Daa Yankees lose" rallying cry to the chagrin of colleagues Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez.
The Yankees have given Ortiz many opportunities to laugh at their recent downfall, losing 11 of 13 games in a stretch that started with a four-game Red Sox sweep. A slumping offense will hope to have taken the first step to rejuvenating their sticks this season with Thursday's 12-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Meanwhile, the Red Sox are fighting not to stay still in the American League standings. They entered Thursday just three games removed from a wild-card spot amid a five-game winning streak.
Ortiz wasn't the first local sports star to make a cameo during Kahan's Fenway run. New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye called in Tuesday night, so perhaps the musician is willing and able to deliver another surprise for his sold-out shows on Friday and Saturday.
