The Boston Red Sox can't get out of their own way at home this season, it seems.

Boston started Tuesday's contest off with a bang against the Atlanta Braves with back-to-back homers in the first inning from Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela, but ended up losing, 7-6. With the loss, Boston is now 22-31 on the season. That's not all, though. Boston is now 8-18 at home. MLB.com's Ian Browne pointed out that the Red Sox are the only team in baseball without double-digit wins at home.

"Unreal. Three consecutive games, three stirring rallies in the bottom of the ninth fall just short. Sox lose, 7-6. They are 8-18 at home, the only Majors team yet to reach double-digit wins in their home park," Browne wrote.

This is the kind of absurdity that completely defines the Red Sox's 2026 season. Finally, the offense clicks, but Boston's Fenway Park problems continue. Good teams don't lose at this rate at home.
