There's a lot to like about young Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony and the entire baseball world is about to see that.
Anthony was chosen to represent Team USA in the upcoming World Baseball Classic and he got into the action on Tuesday as the club faced off against the San Francisco Giants in a tune-up game for the tournament. It didn't take long for Anthony to show what he can do. In the sixth inning of the contest, Anthony stepped up to the plate and blasted a long homer to right field.

There's going to be a lot of that coming for the Red Sox this upcoming season. Boston fans have already had the opportunity to see Anthony play and know what he can do. Now, he's about to be on the biggest stage of his baseball life to this point and it didn't take long to show why he belongs.
Anthony's 2025 season was cut short due to injury. But clearly, he's okay right now and already looks like he's in mid-season form.
