Spring Training is here and soon enough, Opening Day will be, too.

Over the next month or so, teams will get ready for what should be a fun 2026 Major League Baseball season. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the two-time reigning World Series champs and followed up this offseason by landing Kyle Tucker and Edwin Díaz. There were other big names on the move as well, including Ranger Suárez, Alex Bregman, Nolan Arenado, Bo Bichette, Dylan Cease, and many others.

With that being said, let's dive into the first power rankings of the 2026 season.

First Five:
No. 1: Los Angeles Dodgers
No. 2: Toronto Blue Jays
No. 3: Seattle Mariners
No. 4: New York Mets
No. 5: Philadelphia Phillies

It's hard to argue against the Dodgers and the Blue Jays being in the top spots. The Dodgers are the two-time reigning champs and got even better. The Blue Jays lost Bichette, but are still loaded. The Mariners retained Josh Naylor and brought Brendan Donovan to town. Over the next few months, don't be shocked if Seattle jumps Toronto in the rankings.

Next Five:
No. 6: Boston Red Sox
No. 7: Chicago Cubs
No. 8: Detroit Tigers
No. 9: Milwaukee Brewers
No. 10: New York Yankees

The Red Sox lost Alex Bregman to the Cubs, but arguably have the top rotation in baseball on paper. The Tigers aren't far behind and will make a lot of noise in 2026. The Yankees should be higher. They're the Yankees. But they did almost nothing this offseason. They retained Cody Bellinger, which is great. But arguably are relying too heavily on 35-year-old Gerrit Cole to return to form.

Next Five:
No. 11: Baltimore Orioles
No. 12: Atlanta Braves
No. 13: Houston Astros
No. 14: San Diego Padres
No. 15: Texas Rangers

The Orioles added Pete Alonso this offseason and addressed the rotation. It was a tough 2025 season for them, but expect a turnaround. The Braves are already dealing with some pitching questions, but should be good once again in 2026, especially if they can get a full season from Ronald Acuña Jr.

Next Five:
No. 16: Cleveland Guardians
No. 17: San Francisco Giants
No. 18: Kansas City Royals
No. 19: Arizona Diamondbacks
No. 20: Athletics

In this group, the team that has taken the biggest step forward is the Athletics. Right now, they sit at No. 20, but don't be shocked if they rise even higher.

Final Ten:
No. 21: Cincinnati Reds
No. 22: Pittsburgh Pirates
No. 23: Minnesota Twins
No. 24: Chicago White Sox
No. 25: St. Louis Cardinals
No. 26: Tampa Bay Rays
No. 27: Los Angeles Angels
No. 28: Miami Marlins
No. 29: Washington Nationals
No. 30 Colorado Rockies
