Junior Caminero injured his foot in the 12th inning of the Tampa Bay Rays' dramatic win over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the World Series.
In a game that stretched past midnight, the Rays found a way to keep their season alive, but every fan was holding their breath when Junior Caminero was seen limping after reaching base on a throwing error by Joey Ortiz to start the 12th inning, down by one run.
Caminero went from first to third on a single by Liam Hicks, but was then lifted for a pinch runner. He was seen with a noticeable limp on his way to the dugout. He is the Rays' best player, and they will need him if they want to be the first team to force a Game 6 after trailing 3-0 in the World Series.
"If my foot is broken,β Caminero said after the game, per the Associated Press' Zak Gilbert, βIβll play tomorrow.β

Caminero left no doubt that he will play through his foot injury as the Rays look to make history and at least get to go back to Milwaukee. His manager echoed the fact that the star slugger would be in the lineup.
βHeβll play tomorrow on one leg," Kevin Cash said. "Iβll make sure of it.β
It's clear how much Caminero means to this Rays team, and on the biggest stage, he will need to play through any ailments. He has not had the best series, but thanks to some heroics by his team in the 12th inning, he will have another chance to change that.
