There are not many holes or flaws on this year's Milwaukee Brewers.

The biggest questions coming into the postseason were whether they could hit for power and whether their rotation was deep enough. Well, they have answered the power question by hitting 10 home runs, more than any team, and the questions about the rotation have not mattered since Robert Gasser and the bullpen have stepped up.

Jacob Misiorowski, Robert Gasser and Logan Henderson will start Games 1, 2 and 3 most likely, and the Brewers will likely throw a bullpen game.

They did so against the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. In both of those games, Dustin May was the "bulk" guy, even though Aaron Ashby notched a three-inning save in Game 4 against the Dodgers.

Against the Padres, May went three innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out three batters. Against the Dodgers, May went three innings, allowing three earned runs, all of which came on one swing from Shohei Ohtani on a pitch down and in.

After a rough second inning against the Dodgers, in which he also let an inherited runner score, May gave the Brewers something positive to take away from the game. He worked a clean third inning and gave up one single in the fourth inning, but did not allow a run.

He ended his outing with two scoreless frames and looked more like the player the Brewers expected when they traded for him.

May has had a good outing with the Brewers this year, but has been inconsistent overall. When they acquired him, they were expecting to get a clear starter for their postseason rotation. However, his role right now is to go as long as he can, and as soon as the Brewers think his stuff is declining, they pull him.

However, he should still be seen as an option to go multiple innings in Game 4 of the World Series, assuming the Brewers are not down 3-0 and have to get crazy with their pitching plans.

He ended Game 4 on a high note, and if he draws the start in Game 4 of the World Series, he may surprise some fans and go deeper than he has previously. If the Brewers can get five innings out of him, it would be great.
