The San Diego Padres have the experienced Walker Buehler on the mound for Game 4, and the Milwaukee Brewers just announced Robert Gasser will take the mound for them.

Gasser posted a 3.87 ERA for the Brewers this year, with a 1.67 ERA in his last six games. He ended the season on a great run, but the Padres lineup could give him serious trouble. Gasser has phenomenal numbers against left-handed hitters, but righties give him trouble. This season, left-handed hitters have a .552 OPS against Gasser. However, righties have a .765 OPS. 13 of the 15 home runs he has given up have come against right-handed hitters.
Not only do the Padres have a ton of right-handed bats, but their most dangerous hitters hit from the right side. Manny Machado, Ty France and Fernando Tatis Jr. have combined for 76 home runs this year. Right-hander Xander Bogaerts has been sensational in the postseason and ended the regular season on a great run at the plate as well.
As a team, the Padres are much better against left-handed starters than right-handed starters. Gasser's best pitch against right-handed batters is his cutter. However, his most-used pitches are his sweeper and four-seam fastball.
The Padres have a very dangerous offense, and Gasser has a tough task ahead of him. Petco Park will be electric, just like it was in Game 3, and it will be the biggest start of Gasser's career. He could be on a short leash, as the Brewers have Chad Patrick, Shane Drohan and Kyle Harrison all available as length options.
