Lowe would be a great fit for the Yankees. This is Lowe's first season away from the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays' ballpark has been described by many hitters as a tough place to hit because of how hard it is to pick up the ball. However, he was an All-Star last year with the Rays playing at Steinbrenner Field. This year, he has been great for the Pittsburgh Pirates, showing how good he can be in a good hitting environment.
He is slashing .259/.328/.479 with 29 home runs. He is having a career year at the plate and has a plus-13 outs above average. He should cost less than Chisholm, but give the Yankees just as valuable a hitter. He is not going to provide the same speed Chisholm does on the bases, but he can be an elite producer at Yankee Stadium.
