The New York Yankees just went from a good team to arguably the favorites to win the American League.
Aaron Judge, who hasn't played in a game since May 31, is back.
The Yankees' superstar was activated off the Injured List on Monday, according to the club.
In the process, New York designated right-handed pitcher Chase Hampton for assignment.
"Today, the Yankees made the following roster moves: Reinstated OF Aaron Judge (#99) from the 60-day injured list," the Yankees announced. "Designated RHP Chase Hampton for assignment."

The Yankees are 81-62 on the season, despite the fact that Judge has been on the Injured List for months at this point. Before he got hurt, Judge had 17 homers and 38 RBIs in just 59 games. This is a three-time Most Valuable Player we're talking about. If he looks like himself, he's going to take New York to another gear.
Again, this club is already very good. The Yankees are one of just three teams in the American League with 80 or more wins. That's because the rotation and bullpen have been incredible. Now, the lineup is getting the boost it needs.
