Aaron Judge has been out with a rib injury since May 31, but he still has more hits than Cal Raleigh.

Raleigh was the American League MVP runner-up to Judge last season. He had 60 home runs and 125 RBIs, but this season has been a different story. Raleigh was never going to follow up a 60-homer season with another, but the falloff this year is drastic.

He has just 13 homers, 44 RBI, 52 hits and a .157 batting average through 92 games. Judge has 53 hits this year despite not playing in nearly three months. That puts into perspective how good Judge was before he was injured, and how bad Raleigh has been this year. The Seattle Mariners are fighting for a wild card spot, but the Yankees have pretty much got one locked up.

Even without Judge, the Yankees have been a great team. However, without Raleigh to carry the Mariners' offense, the team has had one of the worst offenses in baseball. The Mariners rank dead last in runs scored this year.

The Yankees' offense has struggled as of late, but overall, they have been fine. They are playing without Judge, Cody Bellinger and Giancarlo Stanton at the moment, but all three should be back for October baseball. The Mariners are just hoping Raleigh can at least be an average hitter the rest of the way and help them get into the postseason.
