The Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers are set to kick off a three-game series on Monday night at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan.

If you're a fan heading over to the game, it should be a great night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET and the weather forecast for the contest is expected to be just over 70 degrees Fahrenheit when the game kicks off with a bit of cloud coverage. By the time the game ends, there will be more clouds, but the temperature is still expected to be around 65 degrees Fahrenheit by 10 p.m. ET. So, if you're going to the ballgame, you're in for some good, spring weather, without the rain.

Boston will send Payton Tolle to the mound while the Tigers will counter with two-time reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal. Boston has already gone against Skubal once this season and he pitched six innings on April 18 and allowed just one earned run. While this is the case, arguably this should work in Boston's advantage, seeing him this recently.

Prediction For Monday's Contest Between Boston and Detroit

The Red Sox have been scuffling all season and need a win. Boston is entering the contest with two straight losses against the Houston Astros in which the offense wasn't working well against the worst pitching team in baseball. It would be ironic if the offense responded and woke up against the best pitcher in the game. That is exactly what will happen and Boston will win 5-3.
