The Boston Red Sox fired Alex Cora on Saturday and shocked the baseball world.

Since then, Cora has been all over social media. Cora posted an Instagram story on Saturday featuring all of the coaches who Boston moved on from in front of a plane.

He also shared a brief message on X and noted that he's "happy."

The trend continued on Sunday night. Cora and the coaches were back in Boston and had dinner together over in the North End and shared a photo of the group once again.

It's been a wild day around the organization, to say the least. There isn't a person out there, aside from maybe Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow, who can say that they saw this move coming. Fortunately, Boston won on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles, but the game was overshadowed by all of the drama around the organization.

The noise has shown no signs of slowing down yet as well. The 2026 season hasn't been kind to Boston. That much is true. But there are also unforced errors involved and the decision to move on from Cora in the middle of a series arguably was one.
