Octavio Dotel, who was sidelined with soreness in his left side after throwing his bullpen session on Feb. 21, threw from a distance of 90 feet on Friday. Joel Hanrahan resumed throwing on Wednesday, and he threw 40 pitches on a flat-ground distance of 60 feet on Friday.
